A week and a half ago, Jason and Meagan visited. We did a photowalk around the Mall and its surroundings.
Notably, we stopped by the Supreme Court and wanted to do a light drawing since there was a good spot to place the camera for a long exposure. We soon realized neither of us had any LED lights to use, but we did have our iPhones. We finally found a use for the Flashlight app.

Last year, at the all hands USA TODAY Technology Meeting, I was asked by someone at corporate if I minded demonstrating the webcam/office conference call feature. I was living in Las Vegas at the time and said I wouldn’t mind, as long as they introduced me, before switching to my webcam, as Jodi working remotely in her home office in Vegas. When they switched over, the above is what they saw. I then ripped off the feathers and put on a USA TODAY baseball hat and said “whoops, wrong job!”. Laughter from the crowd at corporate…. :)
